A 25 year veteran Lieutenant of the Vancouver Fire Department, Dan Hlushko never expected to become an investor in a restaurant. However, when partner Joe Ennis found the beautiful location on the False Creek seawall that was to become Fiddlehead Joe's, he realized that this was one investment opportunity that would be hard to pass up.
Though never one to say no to sampling new menu items, Dan is happy to stand back and leave the daily running of the restaurant to Joe while he enjoys a semi retired lifestyle and watches the business evolve from the sidelines.
